Briend Signs With Duluth Huskies

Oglethorpe University junior pitcher Sam Briend has signed a contract for the 2010 summer collegiate baseball season to play with the Duluth Huskies of the Northwoods Collegiate League.

 The Northwoods League is one of the country's premier wooden summer collegiate baseball leagues. The NWL offers the highest level of competition and playing facilities to the best of North America's collegiate baseball players.  The League plays a 70-game regular season schedule with teams in their division, uses wood bats and a minor league specification baseball.
