The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters acquire a player in Cornwell (pictured below) who starred at both the shortstop position and on the mound for Oglethorpe in a 2010 season that earned him All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference First Team honors. He started all 42 games for the Stormy Petrels and posted a .322 batting average with 22 RBI and 46 runs scored. As a pitcher Cornwell compiled a 7-4 overall record with a 6.22 ERA and tossed five complete games on the year.
