Atlanta Hawks’ Al Horford Hosts Basketball Camp at Oglethorpe

Atlanta Hawks’ power forward Al Horford arrived on the campus of Oglethorpe University on Thursday afternoon and briefly met with the media before kicking off his self-titled basketball camp. Horford, who averaged 14.2 points per game and 9.9 rebounds a game in only his third season as a pro, was joined by teammate Mike Bibby.

The pair of Hawks, along with several experienced basketball teachers, worked out a group of over 100 young hoopsters on Oglethorpe’s Pinholster Court in the Dorough Field House. The camp focuses on fundamentals and will conclude at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
