Petrels Head to Los Angeles for Weekend Basketball

The Oglethorpe men's basketball team heads to Los Angeles, Calif. on Friday for weekend games on the campus of Chapman University (5:00 p.m. Eastern Saturday) and the University of La Verne (5:00 p.m. Eastern Sunday).

Saturday's matchup against Chapman pits the Petrels against a Panther team ranked No. 24 in the country and boasting an 8-1 overall record. The Panthers have recorded five consecutive 20-win seasons, including going 24-3 in each of the past two campaigns, and will provide a stiff non-conference test for the Oglethorpe squad.
