The Oglethorpe University men's golf team finished in fourth place at the 2009 Gordin-Myers Coac-Cola Classic held on the campus of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Playing in a field sprinkled with both Division I and Division III talents, the Petrels held their own in posting a three day total of 305-312-301-918 to finish at 54-over par.
Sophomore Matt berstein turned in a three-day total of 11-over par 227 to finish as the high Petrel in a tie for 15th place. Matt Rebitch continued his stellar play from the fall season to post 13-over par, good for a tie for 20th place overall. Craig Stevenson came home at 15-over par to record a tie for 25th place finish.
Senior Scott Pugh and sophomore Jordan Hallboth finished at 18-over par and in a tie for 36th place to round out the Oglethorpe performers in the top-50.
