Men's Golf Ranked Number Five in Final Fall Poll

The final Golf World/Nike Golf Division III Coaches' Poll of the fall season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) and Oglethorpe University checks in at number five.

The Stormy Petrels began the season ranked number one but have since been supplanted by Methodist University. Huntingdon College is ranked in second place followed by Skidmore and Guilford before Oglethorpe in the fifth slot.
 
The Petrels competed in five fall events and recorded a top-four finish in all but one event. Oglethorpe will be back in action on the links in late February when they compete in the Callaway Collegiate Classic in Pine Mountain, Georgia.
