Centre Leads Men's and Women's Golf After Day One

The 2010 SCAC men's and women's golf championships got underway at Stone Mountain on Friday with Centre College rising to the top of the leaderboard on both the men's and women's sides.

The Centre men combined for a team total of 307 on the strength of Chris Morris posting the low round of the day of 73 and lead second place DePauw by one stroke. Both Oglethorpe and Rhodes are lurking just 3 strokes back after each posting team totals of 310. The Colonel women posted a total of 341 to lead Southwestern by 2 strokes and DePauw by 3 strokes. The Rhodes women posted a 349 and trail by 8 strokes.
