Golfers Finish The Gordin in 4th Place

The men's golf team finished in fourth place among 18 competing schools at the prestigious Greensboro Gordin Classic, losing to eventual tournament winner Guilford by 9 strokes.

The Petrels posted a two-day team total of 600 to finish just off Guilford's score of 591. Junior Matt Bernstein posted rounds of 76-71 - 147 to finish in a tie for 7th place while Jordan Hall's 70-80 - 150 was good for a tie for 15th. Craig Stevenson carded 77-74 - 151 to come home in a tie for 22nd while Eric Quinn was one stroke back in a tie for 29th. Freshman Anthony Amodeo shot 78-83 - 161 to finish in a tie for 67th place.
