Men's Lacrosse Announces Inaugural Season Schedule
Ready to take to the field for the first time in school history, the Oglethorpe University men's lacrosse team has announced its inaugural 2011 schedule.
The spring 2011 schedule features 12 contests, 7 of which are against Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference opponents. The season gets underway with consecutive road games against Reinhardt (February 26) and Shorter College (March 2) before Oglethorpe faces Carthage College (March 16) in their historic home opener on Salamone Field.
The Petrels will face conference opponents Hendrix College (March 18), Millsaps College (March 20), Sewanee (April 1) and Centre (April 3) on Salamone Field and will travel to battle Birmingham-Southern (March 26), Colorado College (April 8) and Southwestern (April 10).
Oglethorpe hosts their final home game against the University of Dallas (April 16) and finishes the 2011 slate on Silverbacks Field against Berry College (April 20). The complete 2011 men's lacrosse schedule is listed below.
