Mann Highlights Three Netters With Postseason Honors
Oglethorpe junior Felix Mann of Herndon, Virginia highlighted the men's tennis player's who received postseason recognition from the SCAC. Mann collected All-SCAC First Team Honors while Bryan Bailey and Alex Biffle received Honorable Mention status.

Netters Fall to Rhodes, Capture Highest SCAC Finish in School History
The men's tennis team lost the 3rd / 4th place match to Rhodes College at the 2010 SCAC Championships in Little Rock on Sunday, 8-1. Despite the loss, Oglethorpe secured their highest finish (4th) in school history in the SCAC.

Netters Fall in SCAC Semis to Trinity; Face Rhodes for 3rd Place
The men's teninis team lost to Trinity University in the SCAC semifinals on Saturday in Little Rock, 5-0. Still, the Petrels will have a chance to secure their highest finish in conference history, third place, when they square off with Rhodes at 12:00 p.m. Sunday.

Netters Notch Historic Victory Over Sewanee
The men's tennis team won the 4 vs. 5 match at the 2010 SCAC Championships over Sewanee in Little Rock, Arkansas, 5-4. The victory over the Tigers marks Oglethorpe's first in the modern era (since 1991) and propels the Petrels into the semifinals against No. 1 seed Trinity.

The men's tennis team finished their weekend of conference matches in Memphis by defeating both Colorado College (5-2) and Hendrix College (5-1) on Saturday night. For the second straight week, the Petrels won three of four SCAC matches on the road.

Men's Tennis Whitewashes Austin, Falls to Rhodes
The men's tennis team continued their hot streak by winning their fifth straight match and third consecutive over an SCAC opponent by whitewashing Austin College on Friday morning in Memphis, Tennessee, 9-0. The team fell to Rhodes 7-2 later in the day to end the streak.

Howell Selected to Georgia Tennis Hall of Fame
Peter Howell, Oglethorpe University assistant athletics director and head men’s and women’s tennis coach, has been selected for induction into the Georgia Tennis Hall of Fame. Founded by the Georgia Tennis Association, the Georgia Tennis Hall of Fame honors those whose excellence both on and off the tennis courts have brought recognition and esteem to themselves and tennis in Georgia.
