Cerenko, Mann Collect SCAC Tennis Honors

Oglethorpe University tennis players senior Luka Cerenko and sophomore Felix Mann were named to the All-SCAC Men's Tennis Team. Coaches voted for 10 players in rank order, with a first-place vote worth 10 points, a second-place vote worth nine points, on down to a 10th-place vote being worth one point. The top 10 players were named All-SCAC and any player beyond the top 10 that received votes were named honorable mention.

Cerenko, of Atlanta, received 37 votes to place him on the 2009 Men's All-SCAC Tennis Team. For the season, Cerenko posted an 8-5 record in singles matches to go along with a 10-5 record in doubles contests. With the 37 votes Cerenko finished in 7th place amongst voters for the SCAC Player-of-the-Year honors.
 
Mann, of Herdon, Virginia, received 13 votes to be placed on the All-SCAC Honorable Mention list. For the season, Mann posted a 12-4 record in singles matches and an 8-5 record in doubles competition to earn the Honorable Mention distinction.
