Regionally Ranked Grinell Tops Netters

The men's tennis team wrapped up their spring break trip to Orlando, Fla. on Wednesday afternoon by losing to regionally ranked Grinell, 6-3. The Petrels finish their trip with a 3-2 record and now head home.

Grinell swept through the doubles competition to put the Petrels behind the 8-ball in this match. In singles play, Oglethorpe got wins from No. 3 Alex Biffle (6-0, 6-2), No. 4 Ethan Motz (6-1, 6-3) and No. 5 Bryan Bailey (6-4, 6-3) but could not overcome the deficit. Now 10-3 on the season, the Petrels will return home for action against Maryville on March 29.
