    The Oglethorpe men’s track and field team had an outstanding day Monday at the Southern Indoor Challenge, taking the team title at the Birmingham Crossplex in Alabama and seeing three men take individual titles at the meet.
  • Men's Track and Field Takes Fifth Place at Tiger Indoor

    The Oglethorpe men's track and field team had a good day at the Tiger Indoor Invitational in Sewanee, Tennessee, on Saturday, earning 40 points and taking fifth place out of nine teams, a couple of which were Division II Mississippi College and Clayton State. The Petrels got three medal stand finishes, as well, as freshman Marcus Alvarez took second place in the 400 meters, freshman Chris Williams took third in the long jump, and the distance medley team took second.
  • Men's Track and Field Finishes 17th in First Meet of Indoor Season

    The Oglethorpe men's track and field team finished 17th at their first meet of the season Sunday at the Emory Crossplex Invitational in Birmingham, Alabama, marking the first meet of the season for the squad. The Stormy Petrels got a second-place finish from their 4-by-400 relay squad, and several other solid performances and school records for good measure.

    The Oglethorpe men's track and field team returns this weekend, as their indoor season gets underway at the Emory Crossplex Invitational in Birmingham, Alabama. They wuill look to improve upon their seventh-place finish at the SAA Track and Field Championships in 2017, and have a wide variety of newcomers to add to the mix.
