Women Fall to Hendrix in SCAC Quarters

The Oglethorpe University women's basketball team lost to Hendrix College in the SCAC Tournament quarterfinals on Friday night in Jackson, Mississippi, 73-52. The Petrels held an early 8 point lead over the Warriors and only trailed 35-30 at the half, but Hendrix managed to extend the margin in the second half for the win.

Women Top Sewanee in Homecoming Celebration

The Oglethorpe University women's basketball team topped Sewanee on Pinholster Court on Saturday night, 63-61. Down by nine in the second half, the Petrels rallied down the stretch to send the homecoming crowd away happy.
