Sparks to Join Inuagural Squad

The women's lacrosse program, guided by Lee Ann Tutchton, has added another member of their inaugural squad as Sydney Sparks of Lilburn, Ga. has joined the squad.

Sparks, who is a three-year veteran of the sport, played for Parkview High School's first-ever squad, as well. She plays the midfield position.

An excellent student, Sparks comes to the Oglethorpe campus with plans on studying communications and rhetoric.

"Sydney has great speed, which will be a tremendous asset as we try to gain possession in the midfield, a key component to the game" said Coach Tutchton. "Sydney is the person to help us make that happen!"
