Tutchton, the first head women's lacrosse coach in school history, debuted her program with a 3-11 record during the 2013 season. She and the team look to build on that in 2014.
Hailing from a family of lacrosse players and coaches from the Philadelphia area, Tutchton brings a wealth of lacrosse experience to the Stormy Petrels’ staff. She competed in college at James Madison University in both women’s lacrosse and field hockey. When she moved to Georgia, she begin her coaching career. As women’s lacrosse began to spread in the South, Tutchton started the first under-11 girl’s lacrosse team in the state in 2001. Coaching year-round, she has worked with various club programs developing players all over the Metro Atlanta area. Tutchton served as the varsity community coach at Lassiter High School, where she helped guide the program to the state championship game, and assisted the Georgia Tech women's club team.
