Title: Head Women's Lacrosse Coach
Email: ltutchton@oglethorpe.edu

Tutchton, the first women’s head lacrosse coach in school history, will spend 2011-12 recruiting and scheduling to build a program ready for play in the spring of 2013.

Hailing from a family of lacrosse players and coaches from the Philadelphia area, Tutchton brings a wealth of lacrosse experience to the Stormy Petrels’ staff. She competed in college at James Madison University in both women’s lacrosse and field hockey before moving to Georgia to begin her coaching career. As women’s lacrosse began to spread in the South, Tutchton started the first under-11 girl’s lacrosse team in the state in 2001. Most recently, Tutchton has served as the varsity community coach at Lassiter High School, where she helped guide the program to the state championship game.
