Women Topped by Tigers in Season Finale

The Oglethorpe University women's soccer team lost to the Sewanee Tigers in their final contest of the season on Saturday afternoon, 3-1. The game was preceded by senior day ceremonies as Oglethorpe said goodbye to four-year starter Ryanne Arola.

Playing in her last game on Salamone Field, Arola put her name in the scorebook with an assist on a beautifully placed corner kick that Kristin Koch hammered into the back of the net.

With the result, the Stormy Petrels finish the season with a 5-12 overall record and will look forward to the 2010 season.
