Lady Petrels Lose to Birmingham Southern 4-1

Oglethorpe was only down 1-0 at the half, having conceded a goal in the 31st minute. However, in the second half they conceded goals in the 60th, 63rd and 78th minutes, all three scored by Alicia Plotky for a hat trick.
 
Oglethorpe did get one back in the 86th minute, as Mary Beth Horton collected the ball near the upper-left corner of the penalty box and delivered a beautiful floating shot to the back post, but it wasn't enough.
 
The Lady Petrels now drop to 3-5 on the year, 0-4 in SCAC play.
