Two members of the Oglethorpe women's soccer team were named to the All-SAA Second Team by the league's coaches this week, while three more garnered honorable mention status by receiving at least one vote for either the first or second teams.
St. Urbain put together another fine season for the Lady Petrels, tallying nine points with three goals and three assists. This is the former SCAC Newcomer of the Year's second all-conference team, as she made the All-SCAC Third Team in 2010, the same year she won the Newcomer of the Year award.
Evans finished third in the league with 83 saves, despite starting only 12 of the team's 16 games. Her .776 save percentage was also good for fifth in the conferece. In the October 27th game at Berry, she recorded a whopping 17 saves.
Junior midfielder Lexie Craig, senior defender Jordan Weaver and freshman midfielder Hannah Kuhn received honorable mention accolades from the league's coaches. This is the first all-conference award for all three of them. Craig tallied three goals on the season, while Kuhn added two. Weaver was a rock in defense again for the Lady Petrels, as she has been her entire career.
