Women Finish Regualr Season with SCAC Split

The women's tennis team fijnished off their regular season on Saturday night by splitting two matches against SCAC foes Colorado College and Hendrix College in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Lady Netters were swept by Colorado College (9-0) earlier in the evening before rallying to top Hendrix (5-3) in the nightcap. With the win over Hendrix, the women managed to take 2 of 4 against stout competition on the weekend.

In the win over the Warriors, the teams played singles first where the Petrels won four of six points. Molly Colvard (6-2, 6-1), Alison Burt (6-4, 6-2), Sarah Duff (6-2, 6-2) and Kimberly O'Dell (6-1, 6-1) each won their singles matches. The doubles duo of Colvard-Danielson clinched the match for Oglethorpe by winning 8-3.

The Lady Netters finish the regualr season with a 7-15 record and will travel to Little Rock, Arkansas this coming weekend for the SCAC Championships.
