Women's Tennis Ends Season with 7-2 Consolation Round Loss to Centre

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The seventh-seeded Oglethorpe women's tennis team ended their season Saturday with a 7-2 loss to No. 6 seed Centre in the consolation round of the SAA Tournament at Old Fort Park in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

The Stormy Petrels got two victories on the morning, winning the No. 1 doubles competition 8-2 with JaHaun Freeman-Clark and Katherine Walker. Freeman-Clark then went on to win 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles. 

However, the Petrels were unable to pick up another victory in the consolation match and saw their season come to a close. The finish the season with a 6-15 record.
