Inglis Joins 2011-12 Recruiting Class
The volleyball program is excited to announce the signing of middle hitter Lisa Inglis (shown on her signing day) to the 2011-12 recruiting class. Inglis starred in each her junior and senior seasons at Manatee High School in her hometown of Bradenton, Fla.
Possessing great size at 6-feet tall, Inglis will make an immediate impact on the Stormy Petrel volleyball program. In addition to her prowess patrolling the court, Inglis is a National Honors Society recipient and heavily involved in the betterment of her community. She is a member of the Manatee High Key Club, has participated in "Volley for the Cure" to raise breast cancer awareness and helps promote and organize the local Manasota Mopar club in their annual "Kids Pit Stop" event. She also competed for the local Manatee Juniors Volleyball Club Team.
"We are thrilled to add Lisa to our recruiting class that will join us on the court this fall," said Oglethorpe head volleyball coach Kurt Matthews. "She is a high-energy player that brings both a wealth of potential and strong leadership qualitites to our squad."
