Brilliant Weather for Annual Oglethorpe Invitational on Saturday

Thirteen colleges ran over a brilliant sunlit campus race course early Saturday morning in the annual cross country invitational. 

Truett-McConnell won the men's 8k followed by Chattahoochee Tech and Toccoa Falls.  Finishing first for Oglethorpe was freshman Robbie Capps posting his best time of the year and finishing 14^th overall.  In the women's 5k Converse College captured the title followed by Georgia State and Clark-Atlanta.  Also earning her best time of the year, freshman Khadija Nisar finished first for Oglethorpe's women.

The Petrels will compete in the SCAC Championships on Saturday, October  30^th in Seguin, Texas before closing out the season at the NCAA Regionals in Memphis, Tennessee on November 13^th
