Baseball game at Emory moved to Wednesday

The Oglethorpe baseball team's game against Emory across town at the Eagles' Chappell Park, originally scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, has been moved to Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. due to forecast rain in the Atlanta area.

The matchup will be the second of three between the two crosstown rivals in 2019. The Stormy Petrels defeated the Eagles 6-3 at Anderson Field March 6. The teams also meet April 16 at 7 p.m. for the Petrels' home finale.

Oglethorpe enters the game at 9-23 on the season, having been swept at Birmingham-Southern over the weekend. Emory took two of three in a three-game set against Huntingdon in Montgomery, Alabama, over the weekend and sports a 14-11 record.
