Men's soccer set for third NCAA tournament appearance

The 22nd-ranked Oglethorpe men's soccer team takes on the Gettysburg Bullets in the first round of the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Lexington, Virginia, marking the program's third overall appearance in the NCAA tournament and their second in the last three years.

The 14-4 Stormy Petrels won their fifth consecutive SAA regular season title and advanced to the SAA Men's Soccer Championship final for the third straight season. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament for the first time in program history, and will take on a Gettysburg team that finished 11-7-1 and earned an at-large bid out of the Centennial Conference.

Fans can follow all the action with live video here and live stats here.

The Petrels take the field after the pod's first game between host No. 11 Washington & Lee and North Carolina Wesleyan at 11 a.m. If victorious, the Petrels would play the winner of that game Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. in the second round.
